Terms of Service
Last updated: April 2026
1. Service description
Claima.ai Ltd (“Claima”) provides verified UK funding discovery, fit assessment against funder-published criteria, cautious fit signals, reusable evidence organisation, and decision-log style explanations. The service today includes:
- Verified UK funding discovery, traced to official funder sources
- Company/profile fit assessment against published criteria
- Cautious fit signals with reasoning and source/date-read context
- Reusable evidence organisation (the Evidence Vault concept)
- Decision-log style explanations the accountant can inspect
Claima is a tool to assist with grant funding decisions. We do not guarantee that any application will be successful. Grant decisions are made by the relevant funding body, not by Claima.
Other capabilities (such as application drafting or funding-pack export) are on the roadmap and are not currently enabled. These terms anticipate those capabilities so they apply if and when they are introduced, subject to future product decisions and any additional notice we give.
2. Account and eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and a UK-based business or authorised representative to use Claima. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate company information — inaccurate data will produce inaccurate applications.
3. User responsibilities
- Review and verify all Claima-generated content (including any fit signals, evidence summaries, or, if and when enabled, any drafted content) before relying on it or submitting anything to a funding body
- Ensure all claims in your applications are truthful and accurate
- Comply with the rules and eligibility criteria of each grant scheme
- Not submit applications for schemes you know you are ineligible for
- Not use the service for fraudulent applications or misrepresentation
You are solely responsible for the content of any grant application you submit. Any Claima outputs — fit signals, evidence summaries, and, if drafting is enabled in future, any drafted content — are starting points that require your review, verification, and approval.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service to submit fraudulent or misleading grant applications
- Attempt to access other users' data or accounts
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the platform
- Use automated tools to access the service beyond normal browser use
- Resell or redistribute the service without written permission
5. Intellectual property
Your content: You own all grant applications, drafts, and company data you create or upload to Claima. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.
Our platform: The Claima platform, AI models, algorithms, and user interface are owned by Claima.ai Ltd. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our platform.
Claima-generated content: Outputs produced for you by Claima — fit signals, evidence summaries, and, if drafting is enabled in future, any drafted content — are produced for your use. You may use, modify, and submit them as your own work. We do not retain rights over generated content.
6. Pricing and payment
Claima is currently in beta and available free of charge. When pricing is introduced, we will give at least 30 days' notice. No payment will be taken without your explicit consent. You may cancel at any time.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Claima is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind
- We do not guarantee the accuracy of Claima-generated content, fit signals, match scores, or eligibility assessments
- We are not liable for unsuccessful grant applications or any loss arising from reliance on Claima-generated content
- Our total liability is limited to the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
8. Data and privacy
Your use of Claima is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We process your data in accordance with UK GDPR.
9. Termination
You may delete your account at any time via Settings or by emailing hello@claima.ai. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, with notice where reasonably possible. On termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
